Hi, my name is Jerusalem Greer and Storia Di Vita Design is my little business. I am a mom, a wife, and a modern gal just trying to live the Artsy Life - full of love, laughter and with a grateful heart.

my little life in blog form.

There was a girl who loved a good story. She also loved color and fabric and all things lovely. Nothing was more fun to her than creating beautiful spaces that delighted the hearts of those who lived in them. Welcome to Storia Di Vita Design, a girls dream come true...

The Storia Di Vita Design Philosophy

At the heart of Storia di Vita Design is what the name itself means "Story of Life." Each home or space should tell the story of those who live and work there. This idea is exciting to us, and we hope it will be to you as well!

Here are a few other of our thoughts..

  • We believe that all good design is just another form of storytelling. That when done well, design is personal and unique to each homeowner and business.
  • We love old things - homes, fabrics, furniture, photo's etc. And we excel at re-using found items in new ways; giving them new life while still acknowledging their history and mixing them with wonderful new things as well.
  • We believe in lovely living, complete with family, friends, good food, good music, and great parties.
  • We want to create environments (online or on terra firma) where everyone can be inspired and comfortable and enjoy their life.
  • We believe in the collaborative spirit and want to work together with you to design spaces that best reflect your life and style and how you want to live.

My Favorite Things

My Boys - My husband Nathan and sons Wylie and Miles. They are the loves of my life.

My Girls- The GG's, The Zen's, The Zita's, The North Gals, (you know who you are!) They keep me sane and they keep me laughing.

My Siblings - Joshua, Jemimah and Judea. They are the most creative people I know and a constant source of encouragement and inspiration.

Coffee, coffee, coffee - it holds everything together.

Saturdays spent at Flea Markets and Garage Sales, uncovering those magical finds.

My Books & Magazines- An ever evolving and revolving treasure trove of inspiration!

My Personal Manifesto: "Make Do and Mend!" Taken from a poster from the WW II era this phrase sums up everything for me. Learning to "Make Do" can be the very thing that spurs on great creativity and it can also be a way to save the planet, one vintage find at a time!
